The 2023 cycle of the FuturArc Prize and BCI Interior Design Awards 2023 has officially been launched!

 

Themed Cross-Generational Architecture, FuturArc Prize (FAP) 2023 asks: how can we design architecture that responds to societal issues for tomorrow’s generations amidst ongoing climate and planet challenges? How can we address quality of life and well-being for all age groups together with nature? How can these built spaces be sustainable and not add further distress to the environment?

Open to professionals and students.

Extra credit will be awarded for:

(a) the use of local resources and materials

(b) including non-human species (flora and fauna) in the design

BCI Central Interior Design Awards (IDA) 2023 calls for interior design projects that showcase well-designed human-centred spaces that empower users to reside, engage and enrich their lives joyfully and meaningfully. The designs should illustrate a deep understanding of the users’ psyche, behaviour, habits and preferences. This cycle’s theme is Human-Centred Interiors.

Open to interior design professionals.

To acknowledge interior design professionals who have designed with eco-awareness, extra credit will be given for the use of recycled materials with Chain of Custody evidence.
