The BCI Asia Awards

Established in 2005, the BCI Asia Awards recognise the top architects and developers in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam. This distinguished event, comprising the Top 10 Architects, Top 10 Developers, FuturArc Prize and BCI Asia Interior Design Awards, serves as a platform to promote ingenuity and sustainability in design.

Top 10 Architects Awards

The Top 10 Architects awards acknowledge architecture firms with the highest total value of projects under construction during the preceding calendar year. The evaluation process also considers the firm’s commitment to sustainability and verified green building ratings.

In consideration of the fact that not all designs are executed to their original specifications, the evaluation criteria encompass pre-tender projects, aiming to highlight early-stage green design initiatives. Additionally, BCI grants a higher rating to industrial, office and hotel projects.

A project can receive recognition twice in its lifespan, specifically when it progresses from the tender stage to being awarded the main contract in the subsequent year.
