The BCI Asia Awards

Since its conception in 2005, the annual BCI 亞洲大獎 has recognised the best architects and developers in the building and design industry across seven of Asia’s key markets: Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam. The awards— including the Top 10 Architects, Top 10 Developers, FuturArc 獎項, and the BCI Asia Interior Design Awards—aim to celebrate and encourage innovative and sustainable designs for the betterment of our built environment.

Top 10 Architects Awards

The Top 10 Architects awards are presented to those architecture firms that have the greatest aggregate value of projects during the last complete calendar year, weighted by the extent of their sustainability and confirmed green building ratings.  

Not all designs are constructed according to original specification; so, to recognise early-stage green design efforts, the criterion includes pre-tender projects. BCI also awards a higher rating to industrial, office and hotel projects. In addition, a project can be recognised twice over its lifespan, when it progresses from tender to main contract awarded in the subsequent year.
